How long will it take me to notice?

This morning I just noticed that I bought 1% milk instead of my usual skim milk. Today is Friday. I bought the milk on Sunday.

Yes, it took me 5 full days to notice I bought the wrong kind of milk. Apparently not so hard to pull the wool over my eyes, as the saying goes.
