I just saw a 75-year old lady on Dr. Phil who set a good example for you. She was trying to get her phone working again and wasn't getting any help from her phone company. I missed part of the story but I believe the general gist of it is that she got her hammer, drove over to their office and smashed their phone to bits. "If I can't have a phone, neither can you."
I think she did, or at least fined. They said that it cost her $2500 to do it. She said she'd do it again. Her husband had a solid gold hammer brooch made for her 76th birthday.

It's worth considering.
Don't even tempt me ... ;)
(Did the woman get arrested? You know, just out of curiosity.)
