Tax Time

If anything, I'm consistent. Once again I have proven this to myself, and not intentionally.

I did the first run at my tax returns this morning and as usual am in a complete panic because I did something wrong or missed something somewhere and owe each of the governments close to $5,000 each.

Yes, I have had one bout of tears as the initial shock hit but I'm OK now. Next week a colleague will review it all for me and hopefully (I'll be chanting hopeful chants all weekend) it will all work out in my favour (meaning I will be getting cheques back from the government). That's what usually happens. But there's always a first time and I hope (again more chanting) that this will not be the year I have to pay the government even more in taxes than I already do.

Maybe it would help if you, friendly readers that you are, could do some chanting too.

I will be chanting for you. But only if you chant for me as well!
