Oh man, it was hysterical! This was Stef live - I wish I could have captured it on film. It was while we were staying at the farm. Stef and I decided to go for a walk to the next village (to look for a phone booth, but that's another story). Walking through the woods, Stef and I were yapping (yeah, unusual, I know)when I noticed a SMALL snake lying at the side of the path. So I said, all excited 'cause I've never seen a live snake before, "Oh look, a snake!" Well. I'm sure you can see where this story is going. You'd have thought a giant python was lowering itself from a tree right above us. Think of Kaa from the Jungle Book. Stef jumped about 12 feet and screeched "OH MY GOD, WHERE?????????" I nearly wet myself laughing. Your sister has certainly provided me with some good laughs over the years, usually at her expense. Heh heh! Sorry Stef, he asked!
We went to Colisanti's yesterday. It's a farm, but it's got indoor greenhouses, a mini-putt course and a good petting zoo, FOR THE KIDS, that has a lot of different species. Even a male lion, almost a year old and big enough to eat me for lunch.
As you enter the zoo area, there are some tropical animals behind glass windows. Of course, you can't have tropical animals if there aren't snake. Stef and I looked at a few cases and she was a little squirmy, but not too bad. Then we got to the big ones; Giant Burmese Pythons. One was green and had sky blue eyes. It started wriggling around when we got there, the whole body was undulating. Rather creepy. Then I noticed that there was another one at the back of the case, an albino. Almost as soon as Stef saw it a guy opened the case and put the albino on his shoulder. Stef's knees buckled and he laughed at her. I knew why he was laughing. We left to look at other things and as we turned around a door open and the guy yelled "Snake coming out!" And he walked right past us with a giant albino burmese python on his shoulder. Stef grabbed my arm an hit the wall, she was screaming and dancing like an 9 year old. Which was good because there were lots of other 9 year olds around, but Stef was the only one screaming.

One arm was locked onto my shoulder, the other was flailing around wildly.
