All is in order for Cecilia's pre-baby party on Sunday afternoon. We are confirmed at 20 guests. All I have left to do is make the stuffed mushrooms and pick up a rental car on Sunday morning. I do so love to be organised.

i still read your blog once in a while and i love it.
the other day, sena (my oldest daughter) asked me for a story before going to bed, and i told her about our trip to california in 1992 was it?, and it brought back lots of good memories of you and eric.

I'm currently in the middle of "A Thousand Splendid Suns" courtesy of one of my kind nurses. I'm loving it. Did you like it as much as "The Kite Runner"?
Sue - I did love "A Thousand Splendid Suns" but found it very disturbing at times, so much so that I had to put it down for a day or two. As I think of it, that was probably the same reaction I had to "The Kite Runner". Yes, I like it just as much.
