And I know this because a spider entered my home and tried to find a safe place for the winter. Too bad nobody told it my house isn't safe for his 'kind'. Especially when it decided to sit on the side of my bathroom cabinet and scare the living daylights out of me while I was brushing my teeth this morning.

Oh man, my heart goes out to ya! Stupid spiders. I had a bit of a squeal the other morning. I had to wake Dylan up for school at 7:00. He was sound asleep, so I crawled into bed with him to wake him up gently. I felt this tickling on my arm, but just scratched at it. A second later, I felt another tickling. Even in the dimly-lit room, I could see it was a spider. OK, it was a little one, but come on, a spider is a spider! I jumped, Dylan asked dreamily "What's wrong Mummy?", I say "There's a spider in your bed," he jumps up screaming, I leap out of bed and we were both awake!
